EIGHT YEARS AGO I never imagined I'd be writing this note to welcome you to Sinfonia's 8th season. With the enthusiasm and generous support our dear friends and loyal audience members continue to bring to us, we will continue to bring you the best in live symphonic music. From our comfortable home in the Centennial Theatre, "where there is ample free parking," we will present our 8th season of the finest repertoire ranging form the baroque to the music of today.
Our soloists include some of Canada's best known performers: pianist Robert Silverman, violinist Marc Destrubé , flutist Sarah Jackson, soprano Heather Pawsey and more. Everyone of Sinfonia's professional musicians love Sinfonia as much as you do and we all dedicate ourselves to bringing you a great quality performance whether it be a Bach concerto or a Beethoven symphony.
